Jakarta (regamedianews.com) -Pasca peristiwa ledakan Bom di Kampung Melayu, Jakarta Timur, Kapolri Tito Karnavian mengatakan untuk penanganan teroris harus dilakukan lebih intensif lagi. Tindakan yang harus dilakukan melalui proses pencegahan. Proses rehabilitasi para pelaku juga perlu dilaksanakan.
“Kita juga perlu membuat daftar organisasi teroris di Indonesia,” ujar Tito saat konprensi pers di Rumah Sakit Polri, Kramat Jati, Jakarta Timur, Jumat (26/05/2017).
Menurut Tito, bentuk penanganan teroris akan berbenturan dengan kebebasan masyarakat. Peningkatan sistem keamanan nasional secara otomotatis akan mengurangi kebebasan masyarakat.
“Sebagai contoh kalau sudah ditetapkan organisasi teroris, para anggota bisa ditangkap,” tegasnya.
Tindakan kriminalisasi, harus diambil untuk mencegah terulang peristiwa teror bom. Biasanya para pelaku bom yang memakai konsep jihad harus melakukan terlebih dahulu. Sehingga kalau sudah teridentifikasi bisa langsung diproses hukum.
“Biarpun dalam pelatihan hanya mengunakan airsoft gun maupun senjata mainan,” ujarnya.
Kepanikan yang ditimbulkan, lanjut Tito, negara tidak boleh kalah. Bom Bali, peristiwa teror yang lebih besar mampu diatasi. “Untuk bom Kampung Melayu, pasti bisa diungkap,” ujar Tito.
Tito Karnavian mengharapkan dukungan dari berbagai pihak, dibutuhkan partisipasi dari intelijen, TNI, dan ulama untuk mencegah terulang peristiwa seperti ini. Ia mengharapkan, bulan Ramadan ini para ulama bisa menyampaikan ceramah mengenai perdamaian.
“Jangan ada lagi kekerasan dengan korban masyarakat,” ungkapnya. (red)
