Jelang agenda reses para Senator, orang nomor satu di DPD RI, AA LaNyalla Mahmud Mattalitti menyempatkan diri berkunjung ke kediaman Ketua Umum Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Prof. Dr. KH. Said Aqil Siraj, Minggu (11/10/20).

Dalam kunjungan silaturahim itu, LaNyalla Mattalitti didampingi Ketua Komite I DPD RI, Fachrul Razi yang juga Senator asal Aceh. Kepada keduanya, Said Aqil banyak menyampaikan aspirasi dan nasehat serta pesan terkait masalah kebangsaan.

“Saya sengaja sowan ke Kiai Said sebelum reses ke Jawa Timur, untuk mendapat masukan dan nasehat terkait kondisi kebangsaan kita saat ini. Alhamdulillah Kiai Said sangat antusias berdialog dan kita membahas banyak hal seputar tema-tema kebangsaan,” ungkap LaNyalla yang juga Senator asal Jatim ini.

Ketum PBNU tersebut juga memberikan LaNyalla kartu e-money PBNU, hasil kerjasama antara Nahdlatul Ulama dan Bank Mandiri, sebagai bagian dari program pemberdayaan warga NU. Kartu tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai alat bayar di beberapa merchant. Termasuk untuk membayar biaya di jalan tol.

Di akhir silaturahim, alumni kampus Ummul Quro’ Makkah itu mendoakan sosok Ketua DPD RI ini agar bermanfaat bagi bangsa Indonesia di masa depan, dan tetap konsisten dengan sikapnya yang dikenal sebagai pejuang kepentingan daerah dan kaum duafa serta fakir miskin.

Menanggapi hal itu, LaNyalla merasa tersanjung dan mengaku belum banyak berjuang untuk Indonesia. “Insya Allah dengan doa dari Kiai Said, saya lebih bersemangat untuk bekerja untuk Indonesia dengan kerja keras dan kerja ikhlas,” pungkasnya. (Bst-rd)
