Sampang, (regamedianews.com) – Produksi gabah di Kabupaten Sampang setiap tahunnya mengalami peningkatan, terbukti sesuai data dari Dinas pertanian setempat, luas lahan panen gabah mencapai 49.727 juta hektar, dengan produktivitas mencapai 47,9 ton perhektar atau produksi mencapai 290.526 ton gabah.

“Hasil tersebut tidak terlepas dari peran pendamping dari Dinas Pertanian serta Kodim 0828 yang ikut serta dalam mensukseskan para petani dalam produksi padi dengan hasil yang melimpah,” ujar Kepala Dinas Pertanian Kab. Sampang, Hary Soeyanto, Kamis (15/03/2018).

Sementara Kabid Sumber Daya dan Penyuluhan Pertanian, Bambang Subagio menambahkan, dalam mensukseskan swasembada pangan nasional, Dinas Pertanian tidak mematok target yang tinggi.

“Hal ini dibuktikan dengan patokan Serapan Gabah (Sergab) yang hanya terpaku diangka 13 ton perhari. Minimnya target Sergab yang disiapkan untuk mengurangi ketergantungan Impor beras dari luar daerah,” pungkasnya. (har/adi)
