Surabaya, (regamedianews.com) – Dihari kedua lebaran, jumlah arus mudik lebaran di Stasiun Kereta Api Pasar Turi Surabaya mulai mengalami penurunan. Para calon pemudik memilih mudik hari pertama lebaran, karena yakin jumlah penumpang sepi.

Seperti yang dilakukan oleh penumpang asal Kota Jakarta, Endang Suhartatik, dirinya lebih memilih pulang ke kampung pada hari lebaran pertama. Meski tak bisa merayakan moment idul fitri bersama keluarga dan kerabat.

“Saya lebih memilih mudik pada hari pertama lebaran, karena situasinya lebih sepi tanpa berdesak-desakan, dan tanpa harus menunggu berjam-jam keberangkatan kereta,” ungkapnya, Senin (26/06/2017).

Sementara Kepala Stasiun Kereta Api Pasar Turi, Supriadi mengatakan, jumlah pemudik di hari kedua sudah mengalami penurunan. Dari jumlah 6 ribu saat puncak arus mudik Sabtu kemarin, kini turun diangka 5 ribu.

“Jumlah penurunan karena pemudik lebih memilih berangkat ke kampung halamanya pada lebaran pertama. Karena kebanyakan orang memilih pulang sebelum lebaran untuk merayakan idul fitiri, bersama keluarga” ujarnya.

Jika mengaca pada tahun – tahun sebelumnya, diperkirakan arus balik di Stasiun Kereta Api Pasar Turi, akan terjadi pada 2 Juli mendatang, atau 6 hari setelah lebaran.

“Biasanya pasca lebaran ketupat, arus balik mudik sudah mulai meningkat kembali, Tapi peningkatan itu terjadi tidak seperti waktu sebelum lebaran” pungkasnya. (rid)
